SuperSimpleOCR runs locally on your Mac. The app does not transmit your screenshots or recognized text to our servers. We may collect limited information when you contact us for support:

• Contact details you provide voluntarily (such as your email).
• Diagnostic information you choose to share (screenshots, logs, or descriptions of an issue).

Screenshot Processing

SuperSimpleOCR processes screenshots only when you manually trigger a capture. The app does not perform any form of continuous screen recording or screen monitoring. Screenshots are used exclusively for on-device OCR text extraction. OCR processing occurs entirely on your device and no screenshot data or recognized text is ever transmitted to any server. Screenshots remain only in volatile memory during processing and are immediately discarded after use. The app does not store screenshots, record the screen continuously, or share any screen content with third parties.

How We Use Information

We use the information you send us solely to:

• Respond to your inquiries and provide technical assistance.
• Improve the stability and usability of SuperSimpleOCR.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. We only share information when required by law or if necessary to investigate and prevent abuse of our services.

Data Retention

Emails and diagnostic files you send us are retained only while we work on your request. Once resolved, we delete the correspondence unless we need to keep it for legal or auditing purposes.
